I just got back from seeing Star Trek with Matt. Some of you are probably thinking "What the what? Alexz at a sci-fi?". Well, tonight was intended to be a treat from me to Matthew, and I KNEW he was dying to see it. I won't lie... I had my "I'm going to hate this" face on, and went in with a head full of preconceived judgements.
To my surprise, the movie was great. Period. I loved it.
Lets just ignore the script all together. The graphics were amazing, the visuals to die for, and the soundtrack... God, that soundtrack was nothing short of Epic. With a capital 'E', if you will note. I will admit that even the story had me hooked. I have never been a follower of Star Trek, but I understood everything going on (and I liked it).
So there you have it. My review of Star Trek is an A+. And if you are any sort of art geek, you must go.
